Visiting Compassion for Greek Paws

We are always happy to welcome respectful visitors to Compassion for Greek Paws. 🐾

Many people visiting Greece enjoy taking the opportunity to come and meet the dogs, see the sanctuary, and spend time with the animals in our care. Visits can be incredibly valuable for the dogs, giving them extra social interaction, affection, enrichment, and positive experiences with new people.

Whether you are a long-time supporter, sponsor one of our dogs, are interested in rescue work, or simply want to spend time helping animals during your stay in Greece, visitors are very welcome.

During your visit, you may have the opportunity to:

• Meet the dogs living at the sanctuary
• Spend time socialising and interacting with the animals
• Help with brushing, walking, or enrichment activities where appropriate
• Learn more about the day-to-day realities of rescue work in Greece
• See how donations and support directly help improve the dogs’ lives

Please understand that this is a working rescue sanctuary, not a tourist attraction. The welfare, safety, and comfort of the animals will always come first, and some areas or dogs may not always be accessible depending on conditions at the time.
