Easter is a time for celebration, and the dogs at Compassion for Greek Paws were not forgotten.
To mark the Easter weekend in Greece, the shelter dogs were treated to a special snack featuring fresh free-range eggs and homemade unsalted creamy cheese.
The treats were met with plenty of enthusiasm, with wagging tails, eager faces, and more than a few cheesy whiskers appearing around the shelter. 😋🐾
Simple moments like these bring a lot of joy to the dogs. While treats are only a small part of daily shelter life, they provide enrichment, variety, and excitement for dogs who spend much of their time waiting for their forever homes.
Watching the dogs enjoy something different is always rewarding, and their reactions are a reminder that sometimes the simplest things bring the greatest happiness.
