While temperatures reached a scorching 33°C today, preparations for winter are already underway at Compassion for Greek Paws.
In Greece, winter conditions can become extremely harsh, with temperatures sometimes dropping as low as -10°C, -15°C, and occasionally even -20°C. Making sure the dogs stay warm and protected during those colder months is an essential part of shelter life.
Today was spent collecting our hay supply directly from the fields, ready to provide extra warmth and insulation for the dogs during winter.

A huge thank you goes to Αβρααμ Αβραμίδης for once again giving his time, hard work, and support to help the shelter. Contributions like these make a real difference behind the scenes.
If you would like to help towards the cost of winter hay and ongoing shelter care, donations of any size are always deeply appreciated. Every contribution helps us keep our dogs warm, safe, and comfortable throughout the colder months ahead. 🐾
