Winter Food Donation Helps Keep Dogs Healthy Through the Cold Months

Compassion For Greek Paws

dog sancutary food donation

Compassion for Greek Paws would like to extend a huge thank you to Greek Animal Rescue (GAR) and their supporters for a recent donation towards winter food for the dogs.

The donation was kindly arranged directly through the shelter's veterinary team, helping ensure that essential supplies could be secured quickly and efficiently. With the food now arriving, trips are underway to collect and transport the sacks back to the shelter, with additional supplies being collected over the coming days.

Winter in northern Greece can be harsh, with cold temperatures lasting for extended periods. During these months, the dogs require increased food intake to help maintain body condition and stay warm throughout the season.

Providing enough nutritious food during winter is one of the shelter’s most important ongoing responsibilities, and support like this helps ensure that every dog continues to receive the care they need regardless of the weather.

Greek Animal Rescue has supported countless animals over the years, and Compassion for Greek Paws is incredibly grateful to be among the organisations benefiting from their generosity and the kindness of their loyal supporters.

From all of us at Compassion for Greek Paws, and especially the dogs who will enjoy those extra meals this winter, thank you for your continued compassion and support. 🩵🇬🇷🐾🐶❤️
