As the New Year began, the dogs at Compassion for Greek Paws took a moment to reflect on their goals for the year ahead — with some resolutions proving more ambitious than others. 🐾✨
A few of our residents shared their promises for the coming year:
- Betty promised she would try to be a little less jittery.
- Cleopatra vowed to be less shy and more confident.
- Archie decided he would try to worry a little less.
- Jamie made perhaps the most ambitious promise of all — to stop eating things he definitely shouldn't be eating. 💩🙈
Of course, once the post went live, supporters were quick to join in and share the resolutions of their own dogs.
Lenny reportedly promised to bark less at elderly ladies with shopping trolleys — although his family admitted they were not entirely convinced he would stick to it.
Ella pledged to spend less time digging enormous holes, while Snoopy promised to improve his lead manners and stop trying to convince everyone that chicken is superior to dog food.
The post quickly became a wonderful reminder of the unique personalities that make every dog special. Whether they are shy, mischievous, energetic, stubborn, or simply full of character, each one brings joy and laughter to the people who love them.
